Description: Orphaned at the age of twenty he left France and he moved to Italy where he devoted himself to caring for the victims of the plague. He caught the plague himself and hid in the woods so he wouldn’t infect anyone. When he came back to France he was arrested for spying because he was hiding himself in pilgrim’s disguise
Death: His uncle had him imprisoned and he died in his cell after many many years of imprisonment.
