Description: When he was young St Joseph was good at nothing. He would wander around, going nowhere, his mouth gaping open. He was not at all popular but once he became a servant at a Franciscan monastery he began to change himself entirely to a life of humiliation, mortifications, and obedience. He was so good at it that he would rise from the ground while saying mass or praying.
